New to manifesting? You’re in the right place! When I first started on my journey – there was SO much to learn.

An insane amount actually.

I found myself jumping from technique to technique, spinning my wheels with intermittent results.

Despite what the title says, I truly don’t believe there’s a correct way to manifest. What matters most is HOW you feel while doing it.

BUT there are some science-backed approaches that can help you manifest faster with more consistency. And who wouldn’t be f***ing thrilled about that, ammirite?

Before we dive in, I want to set some expectations. We’re going to cover:

  • What Manifestation is Not.

  • What it Actually is instead.

What Manifestation is NOT. (According to Moi. 💁🏻‍♀️)

I think it’s safe to assume that most of us stumbled upon manifestation because we’re seeking an outcome.

We want to get a person, more money, career success etc. We see manifestation as the way out – this magical tool that can bring all of our desires into fruition, (which it can be) but we need a healthy dose of realism here too.

So, here are the 4 big misconceptions about manifestation:

  1. It’s NOT magic.

  2. It’s NOT just wishful thinking.

  3. It’s NOT a cure-all for your problems.

  4. It’s NOT denying your current. reality.

“Ok cool, thanks for bursting my bubble”, you say to yourself. “So what the hell is it then?” … I’m glad you asked.


What is Manifestation? It’s a formula.

(And one you can easily learn!)

The equation is really quite simple: It’s a combination of your Thoughts/Beliefs + Inspired ACTION.

(And that second part is really important.) In fact, it’s the one most people tend to overlook or abandon altogether.

I don’t believe in sitting on your couch waiting for things to just fall in your lap – you need to go out and make them happen! The universe is a mirror, so it moves when you do. If you just stay put, nothing can mobilize in your favor.

The reason it’s a 2-part equation is because you can’t have one without the other.

You can’t just focus on your thoughts/beliefs without taking action – because that’s just daydreaming.

On the flip side, you can’t just focus on taking action without addressing your underlying limiting beliefs because that’s how you get caught up in repetitive cycles.


3 Manifestation Secret Weapons (To Break Out of a Rut)

  1. Affirmations (Speak Your Desires Into Reality). 💬

For the longest time, I was a self-proclaimed affirmations hater. It felt forced, and fake AF.

Until, I learned the right way to do and how to phrase them correctly to create the least amount of resistance in my mind.

Affirmations are best absorbed by penetrating you subconscious – and how do you do that? In your sleep.

Listening to affirmations at nighttime requires the least amount of effort and packs the most punch it terms of sinking into the subconscious.

It also matters HOW you phrase them.

Using “I AM” can feel very fake at first. For example,

  • I am wealthy.

  • I am successful.

  • I am loved.

If you don’t feel that in your core - your mind will reject it.

You need to use bridge phrases like “ I am starting to believe” or “It is becoming natural for me to…”

That way you don’t have jump straight to the end in your mind. You can gradually build your way there.

2. Visualization: Manifest with Your Mind’s Eye. 👁️

Did you know - your mind doesn’t know the difference between a real vs imagined experience?

Professional athletes have known about this for decades which is why they use visualization to improve their technique, performance and accuracy.

Michael Phelps & Tiger Woods have openly admitted to using it to improve their game.

So if they can do it, why not you? Plus, it’s free!

Just make sure you’re in a relaxed state beforehand. It doesn’t need to take long - as little as 10 minutes will suffice. It’s best to use the same scene over-and-over again and recount it in as much vivid detail as possible.

  • What do you see?

  • What do you smell?

  • What do you hear?

All these pieces of information are more input for the supercomputer (aka your mind) to help generate the desired result.

Now, onto my favorite technique!

3. Scripting: Write Your Desires Into Existence. ✍🏻

As an avid journaler, I was drawn to this technique immediately and for good reason.

“People who write down their goals have a 42% more likelihood of success.”

Why?

 It reinforces your neural pathways that can help drive behavior change. And it makes your goals visible and easier to track progress and follow through.

There's no right way to script, but I prefer to write out as if my dreams have already happened, because it gets me into that feeling state, which as we mentioned earlier, is a really powerful tool to help you manifest.

I also like to write down the manifestations that I've already accomplished because it just reinforces that those realities are possible.


How to Make Manifestation Work For You.

  1. Follow what feels good.

    Manifestation isn’t about forcing yourself into someone else’s framework. It’s about tuning into practices that genuinely light you up. If a tool feels fun, easeful, or expansive—that’s the one your subconscious will actually absorb.

  2. Trial and error.
    There is no “perfect” manifestation method. What works for one person might feel flat for another. Give yourself permission to experiment—try affirmations, visualization, scripting, or even other creative methods—and notice which ones stick. The only way to discover your sweet spot is through practice.

  3. Get clear on your definition of success. (aka avoid comparison).

    Comparison is the quickest way to kill your magic. Manifestation becomes powerful when you stop measuring your life against someone else’s highlight reel and start asking: What does success look like for me? When you define your own metrics—peace, freedom, creativity, love—you’ll stop chasing illusions and start building a reality that actually fits.
